Prayer Requests

November

Pray that the children learn to play the classic kids’ board games — most have never even played any of them.

Pray for the teens who are part of Peer Leadership Program to develop maturity and good judgement and be good examples to the younger children.

Pray the the kids will learn English quickly.

Pray that the kids have enough food to eat and food that is healthy for them

Pray for the women in English For Moms to make progress learning a new language.

Pray for the families to be able to pay their utility bills this winter

October

Pray for the neighborhoods in which or families live – that God will protect them from violence, gunshots, thefts, etc.

Pray that other children will not call the refugee/immigrant students bad names because of their ethnicity.

Pray for the good health of the families and children – especially for their teeth and eyesight.  Pray that they have the money to help them with their medical needs.

Pray that MNM’s HOMEWORK HELP will be a place for kids to learn and gain confidence in school subjects where they struggle.

Pray for the teachers to have sensitivity to the children’s needs and fears and for wisdom as they teach them.

Pray for the parents to be able to be involved in their children’s education.

Pray that the children will not feel discouraged and upset in the schoolwork

Pray for safe transportation for all of the MNM programs this year.

Pray for the children’s safety as they walk to and from school and when they have to be home alone.

Pray that the children will make some good friendships so they will not feel alone and isolated.

Pray that the students will stay away from gangs

Pray that MNM’s WEDNESDAY BIBLE CLUB meetings will be a place where children come to know God and His love for them.
