Children of Heaven is a precious movie about a two Iranian children and a ragged pair of shoes.  It reveals a side of Tehran probably quite unexpected to those of us more accustomed to a different stereotype.  One reviewer eloquently described it as “one of the most gentle social commentaries you are ever likely to see, with heart wrenching performances from two young (non-actor) children. This will melt your heart.”
